I'm new to running tubeless tyres..yes really i'm this late to the party. I am also running a CushCore on the rear and I was wondering what tyre pressures would be a good starting point to get the most out of going without inner tubes. Any thoughts much appreciated.

That is so dependend on your weight, the bike, the terrain the tyre, your style..............

So, start at say 25psi and experiment.

yup, and how flexi the sidewalls are and whether tubeless (as tubes affect that flex too).

i'm running tubeles. settled at around 15 psi (<17 for sure) in 27.5+ 2.8 and 20 psi in 29 2.5 & 2.4 (still fettling on 29)

Running 21 psi in my front 29x2.4 and 17 in the back 27.5x2.4
That's on a heavy Ebike. Front recommends 20 psi min and the crapy mountain king rear tries to kill me if I go much higher

One thing to be careful of is that different gauges can be several PSI apart. My floor pump reads about 5 PSI below my digital gauge. As long as a gauge is consistent, you can use it to set your pressure once you have found what works for you, but you really need to be careful comparing pressures that other people run if you don't know how accurate the different gauges are. FWIW, I run 22 to 25 PSI with 2.3 tyres.

as a start look at twice your weight in stone + 5 for the rear and then reduce if you need to.

Yup as said it's very dependent on too many factors.

Example being my rigid bike with 29*3 9psi & my trail bike with 29*2.4 22psi (front tyres).

Yes shoulda probably given more info. I'm a 69kg rider on a FS 29er, 2.6'' tyres. I think a good starting point however judging by the responses is around 20PSI. I am only looking for a decent starting point to fettle from.
