Going to have my frame redone in an really really vivid colour.

Does anyone know what comes up more vivid spray or power coat?

I understand fluorescent colours work better if they are powdercoated, although these colours are prone to fading more rapidly than 'normal' colours. I have absolutely no knowledge beyond this.

Probably not much in it if you get the same quality of each. Try and find somewhere that has proper samples on display.

If you pick RAL, PANTONE, BS or some other colour system then in theory they should be the same regardless of method of application.

Higher quality in either will be more vivid. Better pigments, colour retention and gloss levels.

I work with paint but not colours particularly.

I wanted the brightest orange I could get without going fluro, with eithher get it sprayed locally or powdercoated by a good place I've heard about.
