Does such a thing exist? Was looking for a silver steel one, like a king cage but made over here
I have no idea but on a ride yesterday I noticed that my riding buddy had an adjustment bottle cage. I didn't know such a thing even existed, it's so simple and so obvious.
It would have helped greatly when I was looking for a thermos flask that was the perfect fit for my bottle cage.
Not made here. But I have two Elite inox steel ones on my titanium gravel bike. I was going to go for King (for the Ti's) but think they look too weighty on a narrow tubed frame. The Elites look great and have a small gel insert like the legendary original ciussi (which I have on other bikes).
I think they look fabulous and have not lost a bottle https://www.elite-it.com/en/products/bottle-cages/metal-inox/ciussi-inox
Dunno about UK made, but these are the ones I have on my Randonneur. Doubt they're US mage though, if that's the main concern.
Thinner gauge steel than the King Cage I have. Also adjustable, with a bit of judicious force!

No idea for the OP unless you ask a bespoke frame builder but for adjustable cages To peak have a selection. I've had a Modula Ex on one bike for several years and it still does it's job just fine.

Not really that (I wouldn't buy a Tesla but nothing against US manufacturers in general), I just tend to look locally first if I'm buying something. Was surprised that I couldn't find one. But maybe they are so readily available from elsewhere there isn't much market or reason to make them here.
If you type "UK Made Bottle Cage" into Google not much comes up, but several frame builders do appear in the search who then have steel and Ti bottle cages for sale. You could always contact them an ask where they're made.
Elite make their carbon and plastic cages in Italy, that's as close to home as I know, that vast majority of cages are Far Eastern these days.
Hulsroy do a nice stainless steel bottle cage, although not here they're from Denmark
available from Stayer Cycles https://www.stayercycles.com/product/hulsroy-bottle-cage/
Probably made in China but I bought a pair from Sonder, I was a bit disappointed that they were very poorly shaped, the top curve was way too flat, it just crushed water bottles rather than hugging them, presumably formed over a mandrel and then it's sprung back. Had to gently bend it into a regular bottle shape with a G-clamp, one went perfectly the other barely started to yield/buckle as it got close.
Even after adjusting the cages are very stiff/tight so not easy to get bottles in and out of (although no chance of losing a bottle I guess).
They were C2W filler to use up the voucher value so relatively cheap to me, but I would have been pissed if I'd paid RRP.
My first thought is Blackburn I Have a couple on my Road/Gravel bikes and they've my favoured choice, Aluminum (not steel as per the OP original request) but robust and can be merrily bent in a smidge to improve retention if you want.
But it appears from a bit more googling that they're actually a US company and the cages are made in China...
Further Googling turned up this from Condor:
Condor Stainless Steel Bottle Cage – Condor Cycles

Stainless Steel Water Bottle Cage | Convenient Accessories for Biking – Temple Cycles - Global
Neither of which state country of manufacture, but don't say they weren't made in the UK, might be worth an email to see if the pricing is a reflection of UK labour costs or just some cynical cash grabbing...
Ask Tom at Sturdy Cycles. Pretty sure he could knock you up a titanium one
Singular do an elegantly simple titanium one for £40, although currently out of stock (hopefully Sam could tell you when they're restocking).

It's a British company but I'd image they'd be manufactured elsewhere.
Temple Cycles in Bristol have a stainless steel one but I don't know whether it's bought in or manufactured in house (I think they build their own frames).

I just remembered Arundel. Seen their stuff in the LBS, They've even got the castle in their badge. I'm on Surrey/ Sussex borders so it's just down the road.
Then I googled them and it turns they're in Fort Worth, Texas. Different castle! 🤣
I imagine the bottle cage is something like this:

I have a rainbow one that's been much better than expected.
These are available from Freewheel or your local bike shop (with a Madison account), not British made but by buying from your LBS you are supporting British bicycle infrastructure. Very good bottle cages too, I’ve used them for years on and off road!

This has got to be one of the areas 3d printing can help with, can you make your own, maybe customised with your bike/club/your name?

There's a Reilly Ti cage that looks virtually identical to the Singular one, save the branding. https://www.reillycycleworks.com/products/titanium-bottle-cage
I'd guess they've come from Taiwan/China.
Someone's selling a pair on ebay.
Ask Tom at Sturdy Cycles. Pretty sure he could knock you up a titanium one
He sells Kings I think, I got one from him.
