You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hey all! I've registered on the forum, but haven't heard back at all. Can anyone possibly help me out? Thanks!
the tumbleweed will be along in due course.
Amazes me that the situation on there has dragged on so long. I've pretty much stoppped visiting and use the facebook group instead.
The response to registering varies from a couple of days to several weeks. I thought the various parties had had a meeting to sort things out. (there's a bit of back story which I've heard but have no way of verifying so ...)
Didn't even think about the Facebook groups! Will have to have a look, thanks. Is the forum mostly dead then?
I find it really unusual how the admin needs to approve every single member? I hope my meeting won't take too long then!
I checked after my post. There's been a bit of activity recently, around a dozen posts in the last couple of days - it's more a forum to dip in and out of rather than check daily like STW. No idea about FB as I don't use it.
Looked at the member list (there's about 1200 listed) and I'd reckon at least half have a post count of zero.
As Scotroutes says, there's very little crap on there which is good but the downside is that there's little contentious stuff as well so you don't get the on-going political diatribes (politics is expressly forbidden) or similar.
There's a long back-story that's too tedious to recount - even on here.
Go to the Facebook group, ask in there, and a forum admin will likely pop up.
TBH I visit it less these days as my fatbike is mostly for winter and there's so much chat about them.on Facebook, STW etc that a niche forum isn't as important as it once was.
You'll get lots of very good advice though- without some of the shit you see on Facebook sometimes.
Too tedious, even for STW? Well that's a first!
Will get on the facebook group if I don't hear back, thank you both for the advice!
I've found the site very friendly and helpful. Worth persisting with imho.
