You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've really enjoyed Wildbike's tougher trips in the Lakes and Scotland and was wondering are there any other companies offering 30+ miles per day trips in Wales, Lakes, Northern England and Scotland guided holidays, anything from a weekend up to 6 days that you'd recommend?
Regularly ride Peak District so not interested in there but like the idea of a guided trip that takes away issues with navigation/mechanicals.
Thanks
H+I Adventure maybe worth a look (Scotland)
Thanks, looked at H and I before and their prices are £££.
Cambrian way...
Big 40 plus days out?
<long shot>
Were you in that WB group carrying up from Wasdale 2:weeks ago when you passed me and Golf Chick?

Not that it matters, but interested to know if you enjoyed the route.
Hi thegeneralist,
Yeah I think so, was it you two doing the four passes route?
Did you enjoy that?
I really enjoyed the Lakes End to End route that they've created, especially going point to point rather than daily loops.

Might be worth dropping Julia (as per STW recent Bingley Bingo) a line

Don't know about the op but I think I was! Was wearing a yellow helmet but wasn't the guide.
Aha Lucky..
Yes indeed. The bloke at the front pointed vaguely behind him as he sped past and mumbled something about yellow helmet.
So I babbled at you and you said " other guy with yellow helmet"
Eventually we did indeed speak to Fin 🙂
We were doing the four passes.
Shame we didn't stop longer at the top, but didn't want to intrude on the group. Got to say that I absolutely loved the final descent. Absolutely blew my mind.
I think the journey type thing that you did sounded really good
I've had some great trips with Wild bikes, based down I Devon but do trips all over the UK and even Utah
MTB Beds have partnered with Tom Hutton to do Scottish stuff. Sure they will accommodate rides of that length if the customer wants
Chris at RIPA will take you on 30+ miles in the Cairngorms no worries.

I was a little confused but that might have been partly due to the climb!
The descent was indeed spectacular. I found it surprisingly flowy once you got in to it.
I would certainly recommend the trip to anyone but would say to make sure that your fitness is up to scratch - there were some pretty big days in there.
If you really need a guide for routes try below. Personally, all the best routes are rideable and navigable myself. Part of why I ride is to do get the freedom. Scotland is very quiet when out on bigger rides. Just get out there !

Why on earth would anyone use that font unless they were trying to encrypt something... It's horrendous.
