Not even a contender.

The true mark of how ugly this is- nobody ever comments on the garden.

Where ever you ride, it turns heads

Always an indication of good quality.

To be honest, I think the main problem with it is that it's all hung off a frame that isn't high-end enough. If it was Seven, IF, Moots, etc then it would probably sell.

(no offence to Global Ti who I know posts on here).

He should have also put knobblies on just for the photograph.
I would imagine that if he split it, many of those bits would be in demand.

As far as current bikes go the winner will be something by Elsworth.
There are too many vintage/retro bikes that were hideous

Why has nobody posted a picture of Katie Price yet?

Doesn't make any difference though does it. Those of us that know what that thing looks like are now carrying a refreshed image of it around in our heads. I need brain bleach. What has been seen by the mind's eye, cannot be unseen.

Cheers a lot!

There is a member of this forum who still has one and still rides it I believe. They know who they are...

Not a bike but a whole range - Giant FS bikes.

I don't care how much STW love they have or how well they ride, I'd want two brown paper bags over my head (in case one fell off) to hide the shame of being on something so hideous.

This goes for any frame with a similarly mounted vertical shock.

The thing that links all these ugly bikes is that they all look like they've already been involved in an RTA. 😕

Clear brake hoses, must make it easy to see air in the system.

Thanks Jambo I now can not get the memory of riding a PRST 1 out of my head.

Surely the On-One Lurcher complete with the rigid carbon forks wins this by a country mile?

Hey, nothing ugly about mine...

Looks even better now with carbon wheels on it.

Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that ^

Sorry, honestly I have always wanted to ride an Ellsworth to see how good they are, but the cost and the looks just move them down the bottom of the list for me.

I always thought the lurcher was ugly and then I saw one in the flesh and that removed any remaining doubt.

Great entries so far though, them some ugly bikes

I think the latest crop of Specialized Stumpjumper FSR's look just awful.

http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bikes/mountain/stumpjumper-fsr

The shape of the frame look like one of those early bad attempts at a 'designed for women'.
Amazing how they got it so wrong when the Camber and Enduro both look sweet as.

This person has two

Wrong one is a PRST1 and one is a PRST4, I wish I still had my PRST4.
I wasn't so keen on the PRST1.

I love the paperclip bike. And the PRST, always looks like if you leave it in the garage overnight, you'll come back and find it's slightly bigger and another bike is just... gone.

The other thing with the eBay Global is the gearing doesn't make any sense for the wheels!

Very odd.

Mine is the ugliest! Not only that but it weighs over 50lb and moves through the winter night like an over-fed slug on Largactyl*

*Unless going downhill, when it gets up to rolling speed it is swift and nigh-on unstoppable. The roller-brakes get so hot they make atmospheric vapour crackle, barely keeping the brake oil below flashpoint. I love it unconditionally and can go for many, many hours without dismount or discomfort. But it is very, very and no amount of my arty-farty photography can conceal the truth of it.

...I love it unconditionally and can go for many, many hours without dismount or discomfort...

Then no matter how it looks, it can never be ugly.

On a bike, ugly is as ugly does IMO.

I like the bendy bikes, and the nuts flat pedal disc wheel TT bike on this page. There's some art in them.

The Ceeco aero bike on the first page is the only one that made me swear out loud when I saw it. Bleaugh!

The Mountain Cycle San An over the page is almost a work of genius. It's probably the only one that doesn't have a 19" high bottom bracket at least.

That Sync cycle was on BikeSnob this week. I just think it's a bad idea, no triangulation and a floating BB.

I'm actually really intrigued by that LoPro, I'd love to see more. What other forum is it on?
