I need some new pads and Uberbike are out of Race Matrix compound, what's the next best option? Doesn't have to be Uberbike BTW.

E matrix are supposedly more hard wearing with the same stopping power.
We've used both and they seem to work as well.
What brakes are they for
They do an e-matrix which is supposed to be even more friction and longer lasting (not sure what the compromise is other than cost perhapse?
I got some "Neuocean" Ceramic pads off Amazon recently when I needed some in a hurry, £11 for two pairs, and they've been perfectly good.

I've got the e-matrix pads and they are soooo loud! got them on two bikes in different brakes and with different rotors and they do the same thing, I wouldn't get them again.
We have/are running both types in Saints and SRAM REs. Never had a problem with noise on the Turbo Levo or the Enduro
I’ve just swapped to some Uber sintered pads for my SLX 4 pot callipers.
I actually way prefer the feel of the sintered to the race matrix.

I'm using the E matrix on my Hope E4s, they've been good so far.
Good stopping power and quiet, haven't been using them long enough to comment on the longevity.
E-matrix here.
I find them better than race matrix in every aspect and not noisy.
Race matrix were ok unless they got very hot on sustained descents, where I found they faded badly, right where you really wanted it to be just right.
E matrix seem to have a higher threshold which Ive not found yet.

Odd, I use E-Matrix and find them nice and quiet even in the wet!
Think their compounds are:
Shyte - speed of light wear rate
Shyte - supersonic wear rate
Shyte - speed of sound wear rate
OEM Sintered pads cost me more, but one set of pads outlasts 3 sets of Ubershyte, so actually costs less. Less spongy feel, more resistant to fade & more powerful.
Would happily swap OEM for Trickstuff or Galfer pads also.
For Shimano 4-pot brakes, I generally prefer resin pads to just soften the bite a touch and provide a bit more feel.

There are sintered ones as well at similar prices, if they suit an eeb better.
Spending more doesn't always mean better quality IMO, though Shimano OE are very good.
We run UberBike on all the bikes.
Sintered - OK, they work, last well, never had a problem.
Kevlar - slightly quicker wear but nice feel, work well on gravel/road, less noisy than others.
RaceMatrix - balance of everything. Had one set burn through on Swiss DH track, 3rd run of the day under a 'keen' rider.
Worn a set of racematrix down in a single 30 mile wet ride.
The e-bike pads are even worse!
I use their sintered (yellow) year round here in the SW as its wet 99.7% of the time. Every bit as good as OEM or any others over tried over the years. Running them on Magura MT5 HC on 220mm rotors on a 170mm (non-e) bike.
