Hi All,
Looking for a UST rear tyre that is summer suitable!! grippy on loose & rocky stuff, low rolling resistance, tough side walls, reasonably light & 2.25 or so. I am currently running Bontrager XR4s front & rear- great on the front but really drag on the back on climbs.
Any suggestions please. 😆

I run a Larsen 2.35 on the rear, tubeless on an 819 rim.

Rolls well plus good and strong.

I think the XR4s have very low rolling resistance. I have 2.35 team issue, tubeless and would recommend them to anybody.

Specialized Eskar Controls here...

a sort of HR/Ardent-esq tread - 2.3" sensible weight, moderately tough...

IMHO...

If you want fast fast, get a Small Block 8 non-UST, but they do lack bite for pretty obvious reasons.

Maxxis Ardent. A little bigger though.
