Keeping it brief following a series of mishaps…

Wheels are Halo Vapour (not the 35) 2.35 Nobby Nic rear, 2.4 Magic Mary front

2.4 Magic Mary on a 21mm internal rim…will I die?

what width rim tape do I need for 21mm internal width? Options SEEM to largely be 22mm or 25mm?!?

Ive read 110ml (give or take) of sealant for 27.5 x 2.4 tyres is about right, one tyre new, one has existing sealant but not sure which brand so will scoop out what’s left and start again

One bad experience with a pair of peatys valves has caused me to look elsewhere, what are the go to tubeless valves without spending millions currently?

Answers on a postcard to…

You wont die, but it will be a little easier to burp or roll the tyre than a wider rim.

22mm tape, will stretch and narrow as you pull it tight to apply it.

Yes, 110ml sounds about good.

Peaty's Valves work fine for me, but they're not special, any valve will pretty much do.

Thank you @honourablegeorge that helped a lot

Will

move the 2.4 tyre to the bike bike and get a 2.35 for the narrower rim

sorted! Thank you again

I didnt mean you shouldn't use the tyres, depending on your terrain/riding they might be fine, just that they might be more prone to burp in some scenarios

2.3 Maxxis will suit the rims well

I’ll still use the tyre, still need to get one more MM bought so might as well go for a 2.3 and put that in the narrow rim whilst moving the 2.4 to the big bike

tyres are going to have to come off anyway as I need to attempt retaking the rims anyway, just a matter of putting them back onto different wheels
