Looking at the Maxxis Agressor TR or DD, will the lighter option be sufficient?
Have got HR11 fitted atm on the rear.

I went years ago with double ply maxxis high rollers, and a supertacky one on the front, but this was before the days of all-mountain tubeless tyres though.

I'd probably go with EXO to save the weight, there's less climbing than there used to be (Mike was on facebook last month moaning about people not wanting to climb anymore), but I'd bet there's still a fair amount.

It's all sand and rocks (and thorns) though, and unless you're unlucky it's bone dry, even after a nights heavy rain the trails were barely damped down and dusty again by lunchtime. Anything moderately tough, aggressive but not too draggy tread, and soft compound will be great. Just double up on sealant.

Nice one Will - "we only had one or two last year...."
Time to stock up on tubes after tempting fate like that!
I'm going WTB Vigilante front, Trail Boss rear. Looks a good mix of grippy front, fast rear. Similar idea to Magic Mary, Rock Razor combination which worked well last year.

I've been for the past 4 years and after trying loads of combinations, I've settled on hans dampf front and rock razor rear
I was there last month (very hot and dry) and it was great in the powdery conditions and v fast rolling.
Obviously you have to crank the rock razor over a bit to find the grip.
Last years at least 10 out of 15 riders had RR on the rear

Probably Andy. Ive got minions in the shed so they're going. It's all down hill so fast rolling ain't an issue
