A brief search has pulled up Schwalbe Nobby Nics at 2.8"

Any other recommendations for mixed use?

Specialized either have or will have both the Butcher and Hillbilly available in 29 x 2.6 depending on how agressive you want. Schwalbe Nobby Nic can be had in 29 x 2.6 too.

Butcher and Hillbilly available in 29 x 2.6

!

Excited. Only reason I've not put a butcher on the big bike is I want a bit more volume. A 2.6 hillbilly is going to be an absolute monster of a tyre too

Only problem is that a Specialised 2.6 is not 2.6"!

I bought 650b Butcher and Slaughter 2.6's and the boxes both have a table giving tyre widths for specific rim widths, and you need a 40mm id rim to get close to 2.6" (sorry, no pics as its "small print type face" and I've nowreturned them).

On a Flow EX my 2.4 High Roller was wider than the 2.6 Butcher....

I suspect a NN will probably be more accurately sized.

Anyone know who has stock of 2.6 DHF and Rekon?

Pretty much why I don't have the smaller one on there- this one may make something like a 2.4
