Basically got new-ish tyre that recieved a 2 inch slash in the sidewall. Bacically asking if it can be repaired, if so how? Its not going to be used tube-less, just wondering if it can be salvaged.

Possibly...you can get tubeless patches that don't stretch, but they don't always stick depending on the surface.
Worth a go with that and stitching IMO, but if you have any doubts in you mind then you may never be comfortable riding it (most aren't!)

You could try stitching it with dental floss and sticking a patch on the inside
