Hi,
Im riding the Peak district pioneer tomorrow and wondered what tyre pressures you guys would recommend running?

Probably! its my first event and my mate has dropped out so I'm riding solo,
Trying to set up best I can for a smooth run.

Depends on many things. One of which is whether you are running tubes or not. Plus, your weight, the terrain, how you ride, etc. Pressure will be an individual thing.

Sounds like this is a cyclocross event. If on a CX bike and tyres, then different pressures again maybe.

What size tyre?!

The peak is very rocky so firm may be the way to go.
Try 30-35

Enjoy the ride, don't worry about tyre pressures...!

I'd probably be going with 27/28 back and 25/26 front.

Too many variables.

Rider weight and style being quite high up the list.

But 30psi up front seems very high to me.
