Need some more tubeless tyre repair string and am a little reluctant (tight) to pay bike shop prices so can anyone tell us what size/ width these strings are.
I have used innertube strips which work well but like a mix of both.

3.5 mm seems to be the one for mtb
I bought the standard ones and slice them in half lengthwise with a Stanley knife.
Some repair kits come with both 1.5mm and 3.5mm, whereas others come with only 3.5mm ones. Noticed the latter type ones have a reamer on the tool.
Not at all what the OP asked, but I have the Dynaplug racer and it fixed a whole in a tyre that sealant wouldn't yesterday, saving a ride and a very long walk back to the car!
I moved to the Dynaplug after having bad results with the other style kits and its worked everytime its been needed.
