I'm lusting after the latest Evo Ti 456. Does anyone know if the tyre clearance is good on these bikes? Can you run a 2.5" tyre?

Don't know about Ti but loads of room on the steel evo.

As above, the steel one has room for a 650b tyre, if that's your bag. So 2.5" should fit with room to spare.

I see no reason why the Ti one should be any different, although i have no experience with it myself.

Hard to believe On One will have made a bike that lacks clearance tbh, even their XC bikes usually have massive clearance.

If you look at On One's web site it says - in the Ti Evo frame spec section -

Wheels 26" x 2.5 tyres will just about fit, but we recommend 2.0 – 2.3"" for best performance

So I guess if you're expecting massive clearance with 2.5s you're out of luck. If you want to fit them, it looks like they will fit. Would you be running 2.5s in muddy conditions anyway?
