Have got a Scott Scale 960 and am planning on swapping the Rocket Ron tyres it came with for a continental mountain king 29 x 2.4 on the front and a x king 29 x 2.4 on the back. Think the front clearance should be OK but concerned about the rear.
Anyone used these tyres on this model before?
Why not go smaller width on the rear giving better rolling?
Narrow tyres pumped up hard roll worse off road.
You can probably find the answer with googling and a ruler.
Cheers all. Google suggests they come up narrow anyway so will just give it a go anyway and see what happens. Guess I can always keep it as a spare front for summer if it doesn't fit.
What rims? The 2.4 mk2 and xk both come up about 2.25 on crests and arch ex. They're quite tall though.
