I think it looks fantastic! Hopefully he goes well, he's had a good season from what I've seen.

Depending on how well assembled the colours are on one's bike, I think it could look amazing.

But then, I also two-tone cars, and non-colour-coded bumpers.

I have to agree, going full two tone would look ridonkulous for a mere mortal such as you and I. However, if used sparingly it would look ace. Imagine matching a red crank/chainring/bars/etc with red/blue discs, for example? Subtle two tone touches would look great.
