New Tweedlove event in 2019

Entries open Monday 3rd of December at 7pm

Two big days racing on sweet Tweed Valley dirt, with uplift and shuttles all day and a proper bike festival to come back to at night.

A two day trans-valley enduro adventure. Registration and rider briefing Friday 7 June 2019. Shuttles and riding start Saturday morning.

The UK’s first two day, multi venue, uplift-served enduro adventure. Over two days you’ll ride thousands of metres of descent on some of the best enduro terrain in the country, on a trip taking you the length of the Tweed Valley forest park, and back again.

A mixture of Adrenalin Uplift vehicle transport and pedalling will allow for way more, like waaaay more, distance and vertical than you would normally do in an enduro format, and race stages will include some ‘adventure’ stages as well as the sweet, fully taped race stages our events are renowned for.

There’s no practice, just two days of full-on quality shredding and adventure with a bunch of like-minded riders. With the distances and travel involved into some more remote spots, some emphasis on the enduro spirits of independence and looking out for each other is encouraged as you travel through the valley forests and hills.

Entry to the Transcend Epic includes

  • Race entry
  • Two day, multiple stage event
  • Uplift & shuttles
  • Packed lunch and energy products both days
  • Medic cover
  • Two days of dedicated shuttles and uplift (more than double your ascent)
  • Tech and mechanical support
  • Post ride Beer Voucher both days
  • Return to Transcend Festival HQ at night
  • SI Entries timing
  • Parking and camping space (bring your own tent)
  • Entry to festival village
  • All entertainment/expo facilities

Same weekend as the Enduro? Anyone know where the camping is

It looks like it could be good but yes pricey. I'd work on the name though, overselling it just a bit. Two days to go down one side of a valley and up the other isn't exactly epic nor suprassing other trans type events.

Yes, same weekend as the Enduro:

Transcend Epic – Friday 7th, Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June
Transcenduro – Saturday* 8th June
Transcenduro Boost – Sunday 9th June
Gritopia – Saturday 8th June
Transcend_E – Sunday 9th June
Transcend_X – Sunday 9th June

I imagine it will be based at Traquir just along the road from Innerleithen.

It's fairly priced, 2 days of ard rock and 3 night camping would be 170ish, lunch and energy gels, and uplifts too.

Rene, I'd imagine the epic part will be reflective of the amount of descending, rather than the views.

That's what I was thinking when you factor the costs in of the campsites in Pebbles for 2 nights.

I will leave it up to Abigale to decide. I just got the message to remember to book on Monday but not the events I'm supposed to book.

Blimey, that's just way too expensive.

Similar to the cost of 4 day xc stage racing I've done, chcuk in uplift and camping sounds like the price is right.

It's an expensive weekend no doubt but sounds like a good price a solid race.

Abigale decided on the Vallelujah and the Epic. Anyone know where the campsite will be based at Innerleithen

Campsite and event village are probably going to be at Traquair House.
