I’ve booked a couple of bikes to demo at Tweedlove but realise the enduro is on at the same time. How much of Glentress is closed for it? I was hoping to pedal up and do the off piste stuff Thunderstruck etc or Plan B if the bike is feeling good.

Is that side all going to be inaccessible?

I guess no one will know what the course is yet. Probably better asking nearer the time. It could be that riding at Cademuir is a better bet.

Cheers, I’ll keep an eye out for info on closures etc.

I was hoping to ride somewhere I know well, never ridden Cademuir 😬

Go and ride it. Me and a friend cleared a load of trees off the DH track there and it needs riding more to re-establish itself now, looked like it hadn't been ridden much for a while. There's plenty of trails there though, and much less busy than GT

Does anybody know roughly which trails the enduro normally use? Glentress, golfie, off piste or is it different every time?

Cademuir definitely looks like a good shout but just been emailed the official "Demo Loop"

Wonder how strict they'll be, does this mean I won't be allowed anywhere else, surely they won't be able to police that?

Where you take demo bikes isn't policed.

The demo loop is more for those who don't really know the area, and is selected to provide a mix of different types of trails, on trails where permission has been granted, aren't being used for something else during the event, and don't go near any contentious areas/trails.

I can say that all GT trails that have been mentioned so far in this thread, will not be open for demo purposes.

And it's not Plan B, it's B Side.

I've known for the past 3+ months 🤐

Although I did have to check yesterday as I'd forgotten how many stages had been agreed on 😏

Not seen the map yet, I've a couple of demos too. Cademuir is a good shout especially if you've grabbed an eeb for some fast loops.
