We are riding in the Tweed valley at Easter and I fancy riding something different to Glentress and Innerleithen. Does anyone have any gpx files they would care to share with me?
Many thanks

Cademuir, Thornielee, Yair and of course the Golfie (aka Caberston) all offer fantastic riding within easy range of GT/Innerleithen. All are on Trailforks and also you can view plenty of POV footage on YouTube to get an idea of what they are like.

Thornie is getting some forestry work, I'm not sure if it'll be fully open come easter

GT has plenty of "off piste" riding to keep you interested all day long.

Another recommendation for Trailforks. I quite like Caidmuir and Yair.  The off-piste in GT is definitely worth a look too - you can do Spooky Wood descent and then pick up ‘Mud & Roots’ (might be a bit slip & slop his time of year). Also the trails down from the mast at the top of the hill at GT. I can’t remember all the individual names, but I think ‘Ho Chi Mhin’ is one of the longer runs.

(I guess others will be able to confirm names of the best trails, and I’m sure they’ll be on Trailforks).

Just a heads up to keep your bikes secure while you’re up there, and watch out for who’s around. Last time we went, some scallies watched us load bikes in our van at GT, then pinched the van and bikes later in the evening.  Van was found abandoned, and police said they’d only be interested in the bikes.
