Morning all. Last few times I've been up to the Tweed Valley I've kipped in the van but I'm looking to book somewhere for the summer for a weekend that sleeps 6+ and was wondering where people stayed these days? Used to stay at Innerhaven but I don't think that exists anymore...

Not too bothered about Peebles or Innerleithen.

We've used Kailze Bunkhouse a few times, seemed pretty good for biking trips

Always stopped at the Tontine Hotel, food is first class and the bike storage is as beefed up as you could get.

Still stay with them when we aren't in the camper

Last year a group of us stayed self-catering at The Trail House which was very nice and within riding distance of Glentress.

Another recommendation for Cleikum Mill Lodge. Pretty obvious I guess, but wherever you stay, keep your bikes really secure. We had a couple of very nice ones pinched from Peebles on our last visit - sounds like a gang of scrotes tour the area on a fairly regular basis. (including watching what bikes are getting loaded into vans at Inners and Glentress car parks).

Kailzie Bunkhouse is good. Cleikum Mill in Innerleithen is tremendous.

Cheers all - I'll take a look at those. Ideally wanted self catering so theres a bit more space for a group of us but Tontine breakfasts may sway the decision!

Have a look on Air B&B for i-lets Innerleithen, I've stayed there twice, it's central to town, great value, got secure bike storage, sleeps 6 and the folk who own it are easy to deal with.

We've stayed at Dignity house for the last 2 years we've been up there. Fantastic place to stay near Clovenfords.    elliothouses.co.uk/dignity
