Has anyone got or tried one of these Tuzo Flip Up Full Face helmets?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/352729588811

Description says it exceeds the usual CEN standard but what are the ones to look for in convertible full faces?

Not sure I’d trust that TBH.

Indeed,. worryingly cheap.

Shouldn't be too hard to see if there are different CEN stds for different helmet types.

I was hoping for input from someone who had experience of the helmet or selection process (i.e. they just bought a full facer).

I found this Q&A with POC which lists ASTM F1952 – 15, the listing for this helmet doesn't mention this unsurprisingly.

It would appear ASTM do not publish a list of compliant helmets making it difficult to validate. I have found the helmet for sale at a bricks and mortar store (M&P in Swansea) and sent them a message. I guess it is entirely possible an unscrupulous helmet brand could put ASTM (or other similar) stickers in an untested helmet though.

These were badged as 'Shiro' brand several years ago.

I asked a similar question on here myself but wasn't sold on the aesthetics.

I think they're genuine, just cheap because not many folk want them.

They are a common design with motorbike helmets so see no real reason why it couldn't work for mtb but the balance of it on your noggin might be upset when the jaw guard is flipped up.
