Morning all,

First time poster here and just wanted to say hello and show you my new Yeti. Mixture of new parts and old XTR drive train from my Cube Stereo (see classifieds shortly for the frame + other bits).

Always lusted after a Yeti and after having my Orange Prestige Ltd Edition Stolen, I took the opportunity to go for it and get the bike of my dreams from the insurance payout and some savings. Just about got it passed the missus!

Many thanks to Phil at BikeStyle (Clevedon) for the build. It absolutely flew at Afan on it's first outing, what a bike! And the Reverb is a fantastic bit of kit, it just lets you ride flat out with confidence!

Ah yes, I missed off a few key details there...

It's Alloy (couldn't quite afford the carbon), Stem is 70mm Race Face Turbine and travel is 140mm (Floats) to make it my do it all bike. Did a tubeless conversion (a right pain in the a*se) too.

Not weighed it yet but think it's around 27lbs. Will go weigh it and come back...

Be good to hear what you think of running the 70mm stem after you have ridden a few times, i run a 90mm and have been thinking of trying a 70mm for a while now, just to see if it makes much differnce to my riding style...

As you're new here we'll let you off with not lining up your tyre'n'rim logos.

Don't let it happen again 🙂

Is this the reason why the Cube frame is for sale in the classyflids?(free plug)

Ha ha, yep I've sorted the front tyre out now! 😉

Didn't dare to take the pic in my garden, couldn't cope with the lawn / fence / overgrowth comments...

Yep Cube frame for sale in the classifieds and the Yeti is the reason! Gone for a 'white gold' theme having seen the Orange 'Black gold' ltd editions... (gold BB, Headset, grips, seat collar, saddle, hope floating rotors).
