I'm being banned from early morning and late evening turbo sessions in our spare bedroom, as apparently it's too noisy when the baby is trying to sleep next door!
Best available room from a noise perspective is a small internal box room. Realistically how sweaty does a room get from one person on a turbo for an hour? I'm used to doing it in rooms with windows with wide open so it's never an issue. Is it just going to stink a bit for a couple of hours afterwards or am I likely to build up enough moisture to be a problem with some of the stuff that's stored in that room- Books, old clothes etc?

I tend to do 40 mins on the turbo in my cellar followed by 10 minutes canoeing on the pool of sweat on the floor 🙂

You WILL need a rubber mat beneath you and clean it every time if you want to avoid it smelling like a gym after a couple of sessions. Might be worth getting a small dehumidifier in there too if it is reasonably warm and unventilated

It's not too warm, there's no heating in the room, though no ventilation either. Was thinking fan over dehumidifier, not just to keep me cool but can get a bit of airflow (can keep one of the doors ajar to let air circulate out)

Small internal box room?
Turbo?
You'll have the paper peeling off the wall in a month and the plaster rotting within two.

And you'll probably be deaf too......

Shed. Or just in the garage/garden under a shelter or something.
We have a room with window, two doors (one internal, one external) and a fan. Still gets damp and a bit whiffy.

I use living room - fan, window open before heating comes on. Wooden floor easy to mop afterwards 😀

I can't imagine turboing inside! I use the shed and even with the door open, the wind going through and the temp less than 10 deg c an hour work out gets me v sweaty.

Yeah, I have mine in the garage, usually run it with the door open and still sweat like a mofo (even the time snow kept blowing in)

Should have added for me the sweat volume depends on the style of workout as well. Steady, longer duration intervals create more whereas VO2 max style shorter ones less, due to the longer periods spent twidding in between I suppose.

I can only echo the comments above. I run the turbo in an unheated garage in the middle of winter, with a fan, and still sweat buckets, so I think an internal box room would be pretty bad. You might still have noise issues as well; my turbo can still disturb the rest of the house from the garage!

without a big fan its hell. I use to drink 4 pints of water before I got one during an hour workout. Still never did a piss afterwards!

Yeah I need to be right next to the windows which are wide open, even on the coldest days, and a fan in front of me. Lucky to have a room I can keep the heating turned off in.

The Mitsubishi de-humidifier I have moves air pretty effectively - it's effectively a fan that de-humidifies too, and you can aim the airflow. Only mention this because it seems like it could cover both bases for you. It's also self-contained and reasonably quiet. It's an old version of this:

Turbo indoors, but with the window open and two big 18" floor fans on full power. Sweaty enough that anything over an hour and a half necessitates a change of shorts!
