I'm going to set up my bike on the turbo trainer but the bike has a bolt thru axle and the trainer is made for a QR axle.
I've had a look at the manufacturers website and they do an adaptor that's suitable for 142mm axles with either 1.0 or 1.75 pitch thread or a 148mm axle with 1.5 pitch thread. My problem is that my bike uses a 142mm 1.5 pitch thread!
Is there any way around this?
Could I just get the 148mm axle and get it machined down by 6mm or would that not work?
Could I put 6mm of spacers behind the head of the axle?
