My road bike is 105 11 speed, but the only spare cassette I have is a 105 10 speed one, currently sat on my turbo wheel.
If I put it on the bike will it cause any major issues? I accept it might not shift brilliantly, but the turbo I have has 8 different resistance settings.
On another note isn't it grim talking about indoor training already
I've done just that before and it was ok. It was only a temporary solution so don't have any long-term experience.
I avoided using the extremes of the cassette because I couldn't be bothered faffing with liimit screws, but it worked for a couple of turbo sessions and the shifting was a bit sketchy but fundamentally ok.
