Just about to do the same with my en321 rear wheel...I'll be using a Notubes rhyno lite rim strip, 21mm yellow tape and Stans sealant. Easy enough to do following instructions on Notubes website...sand down inside of rim, apply yellow tape, fit rim strip, fit tyre. I've converted other non-tubeless rims to tubeless, Mavic and WTB, and they work fine.

:edit: actually going to check if I need the yellow tape given the use if the rim strip...existing velox tape might be fine

Cheers, so you would reccommend buy the stuff individually rather than getting a kit such as joes no flats etc? does it stop pinch flats on snowdon 🙂

so you would reccommend buy the stuff individually rather than getting a kit

[s]The conversion kits are cheaper than buying the bits individually but you might have to get the bits separately if you decided to go the Stans route at Stans recommend the Rhyno Lite rim strip for 321 rims and I haven't found a conversion kit with this rimstrip.[/s]

Hopefully 😀 . Did manage a pinch flat with a Mud-X but it did catch the edge of a rock really badly. Saying that, next ride I pulled a big piece of flint out of a Mud-X and the tyre sealed up straight away with minimal air loss. Only converted to tubeless last year and won't be going back to tubes.

Mavic 721 = Welcome to the Notubes Rhyno Lite Rim Strip Club*

😉

* There are alternative tubeless products available and this should no way be considered a sole endorsement of NoTube products
