Got a Vittoria Goma tyre on the G-160, yester i got home and went to pull off a bit of stick which happened to be a big ass thorn which put a 2-3mm hole in the tyre. Simple enough location, but wouldn't seal with fluid. It's the sort of thing you'd repair on the trail with a tubeless kit insert, but at home, would you bother ? I've never actually punctured a tubeless setup in the past 5-7 years, so don't know if the normal plan is to just bin it ?
No way. Stick a anchovy in there and crack on.
I've got repairs still going donkeys after fixing.
Repair it, should last fine for the life of the tyre
Dynaplug, anchovy or mushroom.
First or last of those for me.
I'd just stick an anchovy in it and crack on
Repair it. I've a repair in my tyre that's been there a couple of years now.
Yep, anchovy and crack on!
As others say, use an anchovy, failing that a bacon strip ;o)
If I'm at home a mushroom plug every time. Even managed to do them where its on the edge of the rim.
Buy a pack and share with the mates is the cheapest way + can of vulcanizing glue with the brush and you will be set up for life
If you can't be arsed, anchovy, if you've the inclination to repair it a bit more long term, mushroom plug.
I completely ignored you and gave it and another one i had for free to a mate for his boys
