Anyone know of a tyre thats tubeless but has the puncture protection on par with the Schwalbe Durano plus?
Need some new 25/28mm tyres for my all weather/all year round commuting road bike, this bike sees some serious tyre abuse from glass etc.. so needs to have the best puncture protection as half the commute can be in pretty much darkness and a puncture is the last thing i need at 4.30am on the way to work
I have ran some Durano plus tyres set up tubeless before but the sealant caused some issues (made the tread bulge from the carcass of the tyre) cant run them with tubes on my 40mm deep carbon rims as its near impossible to get a tube in without pinching it as the tyres are super tight to get on the rims and id hate to have to try and wrestle one off in the pitch black and then get another tube in!
