I made a mess of my rear tubeless valve, it was a stans valve in Crests. I do however have some bontrager valves kicking about-will there be any problems using these instead? They have a large metal shoulder with an O ring rather than just a rubber seal.
Also when they were in bonty wheels they were on thick bonty rim tape which was extra bulky around the valve
It may well work but you'll you'll know for sure without trying...
I looked at those in an LBS when I needed some in a hurry. Don't think they'll work as the well in the centre of a Stan's rim is quite curved.
Got an old inner tube? Cut some 1"sq squares, put a valve sized hole in the middle and use them to seal between valve and rim.
Got an old inner tube?
Cut the valve out of it, use that...
not all inner tube valves have removeable cores, which can be useful in getting tyres to seat at the bead (much greater airflow). Also useful for topping up sealant.
