I've only ever used Maxxis Advantages, both ends.

So there's 4 to choose from already!

Trail centres only? I wouldn't have anything as aggressive as hans, butcher or HR as there's no need.

Nobby nic, ardent, that kind of thing, if you wanted something quick and robust, trail boss is ace.

I run (and have done for ages now) on both my 26" FS and 29er HT Hans Dampf front and Smorgasbord rear, both tubeless.

Last weekend I discovered that Spesh Ground Control are no good at CyB due to the little pointy rocks.

So not those, if you're going anywhere with little pointy rocks.

I've been really impressed wih Mavic Charge/Quest XL Pro's, front/rear specific. They seem to be very durable, not stupid big,and one of the few tyres that give grip in Whinlatter.
