Will I notice a big difference on the rear of a ht on rocky ground? or should I stick with the lighter 2.0

Can't say for certain but for Conti Race Kings there's a big difference between 2.0 & 2.2

2.2^2 / 2^2 = 1.21

So 21% cushier

Really depends on the tyre & manufacturer. The numbers are inconsistent.

They vary between models, different brands and even the same tyre model. As an example, some new 2.3 Maxxis tyres are bigger than old 2.35 for the same model tyre.

I went from 2.4 navegal to 2.1 navegal and noticed a sharp increase in pinch punctures. From none to every ride

ta - it took much effort to mount my 2.0 tubeless so I'm hesitant to unmount it unless it's really worth it....

Yes hell of a difference on dry trails.......towpath today on a 2.0 mud x on the SS fully rigid beat the crap out of me, that and the horse print bridleways. Was actually wishing I had gone overbiked on the full suss! 😆

I will never buy a 2.1 again, only problem is I have a few years worth of them to wear out.
