Not as strange as it may sound.
I have dinged my TR rim (straighten as best can be done) and it won't hold air with just tyre anymore (will inflate but loses air when ridden) so am having to use a tube.
I'm wanting to use Stans in the tube to realise some of the benefit of tubeless.
Has anyone tried & does it work?
My concern is it may not as tube much thinner than a TR tyre.
Thx in advance.
Do you mean put the sealant in the inner tube?

I've done it. It works fine.
Thx both. T'was the answer I was hoping for.
Go ghetto its a lot les forgiving for dinged rims
Today I got a puncture with a tube containing plenty of Stans. It was a single hole like a thorn would make.
I'm back to thinking Stans will not seal a tube, too little to purchase & plug me thinks.
I did pump up twice to check & circle wheel to ensure spread of Stans fluid.
I think the problem with tubes might be the powder in them (that stops the rubber sticking together) does not allow the sealant to work, hence why it's a bit hit or miss.
Iain a good point worthy of a further test.
I will report back.
Slime tubes are pretty heavy, but work ok (at least until you can get a new rim)
