Ive been running stans flows for the past 2 years tubeless with yellow tape and not had a flat yet plus the benefit of the lower pressures.

Just bought myself a 29er and its perfect apart from the rims not being tubeless compatible. Id love to go out and buy some crests for it but moneys a little tight at the minute only just buying the bike.

As anyone use tubeless rims strips ? Do they work aswell as my flows would setup tubeless?

Also Joe's or stans or are they pretty much the same?

The joe's can be had pretty cheap and works with 29 rims.

Thanks

I've used Flows and rim strips in Mavic 719's. The rim strips work, just not as well as Flows. A lot depends on if the rim has a deep centre channel. The deeper the channel the harder it is to inflate the tyre.
