You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Inspired by Mr Blobby's thread and especially the link to Andy Wilkinson's bike I have decided to do something similar.
I have been doing a lot of towpath miles to get fit again on my commuter bike which does the job but it's set up more for load lugging. I have an old cyclocross frame that's sat doing nothing and worth peanuts as there is no disc mount on the frame.
I have drivetrain and wheels sorted, one set with towpath tyres, one with road tyres and a set of sprints with tubs.
To complete the build I need bars and controls.
The Selcof base bar and aero bars are discounted at Planet X right now, £15 for each. Anyone have any experience of these or links to other budget items.

I will try to use V-brakes, as I have some spare and they're obviously more aero.
Any links to base bar levers or drop bar levers that work with linear pull brakes?
Shifters will be bar-end levers.
I suppose you could consider this a stealth wanted advert for any of the above if you are looking to sell.
Thanks Neil.
