Trying to swap in air spring to Ohlins 36 m2 - no workshop manual

Long story of 2nd hand but unused fork -Ohlins RXF36m2 air model but came with a coil spring (from factory). I want to run it as an air fork. A fab deal is starting to become an epic not so fab deal.

I've got a new air spring for it, they are swapable but there are zero workshop manuals from ohlins, and the service video that is vaguely close to this topic spends more time showing how to remove a wheel then showing the procedures. The manual exists for the older gen model not the m2 and its different.

Anybody fully stripped one or swapped coil to air?

I've got the lowers off, coil out. I now need the special Ohlins coil fork tool adaptor at £54 to remove the lower end cartridge thing with 4 x 3mm holes. One of these

https://www.tftuned.com/ohlins-rxf36-coil-fork-tool-for-100-hours-service/p4006

The new spring comes with a different lower end cartridge thing and a plastic split washer. Where does the split washer go? Will that coil tool fit the air end cartridge?

What weight oil and how many ml in each leg? Cant even find this info on Ohlins site.

Anyone with any experience of this fork teardown would be super greatly appreciated!

Cheers

tumbleweed....Sorted via other means. If anyone finds this thread in the future:

Lower adaptor is optional for the air spring. Tool will fit both.

Plastic washer is a spare volume spacer for additional tuning of the air chambers.

Seems shocking (!) that a top end product has no useful back-up, I hope the forks prove worth it 🙂

Agree that Ohlins information regarding this stuff is pretty poor on the internet - Price you pay for buying a fork that's not the market leader. 🤷‍♀️ I've a coil Ohlins and while I'm happy to strip off the lowers and do a service on them,  personally I don't think I'd want to change it to air. I think I'd get TFT or J-Tech to do that for me.

Glad you got it sorted.
