Both due 28th August,

X.9: £260
X.0: £387 without BB (oddly exactly the same as XX, so expect imminent price rises!)

Even XX is heavier than XTR, if that's a factor, however IMO the SRAM ratios are better, having the narrow range of XTR seems to rather defeat the purpose of the object!

Thanks for the info.
XX was out of price range and so is the XO now!!
This double chain ring set-up is tricky.
XTR with a change of change rings seems the likely option at the moment. But limited, with buying the needed size rings.

TA Chinook come in every size you could want, and can be fitted to any chainset you like. I used to run 28/40 on M970 cranks, was a good combo, if you're going 10 speed with an 11-36 cassette I'd go wider on the rings, I'm currently running the 28/42 and it's spot on.

Do you need a different set of chain ring bolts or a spacers due to the missing material thickness of the other chain ring?
