Quite tempted by their current offer, so I'm wondering if anyone has one and how it's going? Would be for a Fox32SC in my case probably, although I do have a 34SC waiting in the wings too.

(I have tried the search, returns almost nothing.)

I run one in a Yari with a novyparts splug damper in the other side

i went for the short one as im not light

And yeah i love it, the Goldilocks ride of support, grip and plush, did take a bit of knob twiddling but im there now.

Its still not like my oild rc3ti coil bombers for plush tho!

Liked it so much I've just put one in my hardtails Z2... only had one ride on that one so not so sure, only long size available so it may be a bit trickier to get right.

I'm also possibly considering one for a 180mm Zeb.

Do you feel it has any effect on the first touch? Does the fork give more grip across wet roots and that kind of thing, where a coil fork can really shine?

Off the top? - no difference for me.

The biggest benefit is more composure once the fork is moving. Feels like the damping has less work to do.

It's a stretch to say its 'coil-like' but it moves the mid-stroke-multiple-successive-hits feeling favourably in that direction. Definitely a benefit. I think they are a bit over priced, but it is a legitimate improvement IMO.

I don't they so them for 32mm forks do they?

Its not the same as a coil, Im running a bit more pressure (~7%)  but I havent lost any plushness off the top, it would be a plusher if I left the PSI as before, but  then its too divey. I definitely feel theres more grip on those steep rooty/rocky descents, without bottoming out

agree its a bit pricey, currently on offer for £90 and it was that on Black Friday (& maybe after xmas?)

Well they do a 'Fox 32' and I was assuming that it just replaces volume spacers and that 32mm ones are all the same...but good point, I'd better check.

Not at all, it's all good information. And I have a Pike 130 that may be next in line.

Ooooooo, I do like a gadget and nearly pulled the trigger on Black Friday. 140mm Pike, will it stop the chatterey feeling over little lumps, bumps and roots?

Got word back from them on the Fox32SC compatibility. The Fox32 one is fine. It does indeed replace volume spacers, so the key is the max spacers you can fit in your fork, there are figures on the shop page indicating the space they use. Fox32 version is 4 volume spacers.

There's another 15% off the whole basket if you get 2+...

So, yes, I got a 32 and 34 version.

I'm a sucker for oddball stuff like this, only the price and scepticism have stopped me from buying previously.  Just ordered a couple on the special offer thanks to this thread so hope there is something to them.  I'm blaming you ^ lot if I've wasted my money 😀

I have one in my Fox 34 that I was only really getting 60% of full travel.  Removed the  tokens and installed and rode without changes.  Felt better, more composed, but still was not getting full travel so I wound of the compression and again felt better - smoother, still plenty of mid-range support, but still not full travel.  So I connected the shock pump and then disconnected so the pump filled with that bit of air, and the air pressure inside the fork reduced down to about 55 psi.  Revelation - smooth as in where did the trail go and still mid-range support and now get 130 mm travel out of the possible 140mm.  Highly recommended, but you need to tinker a bit to find out what works for you.  Usual is to add compression and air, I had to do the opposite, but think my bushing might be tight

Ive got one in my Lyriks as I find the MY23/4 ones very progressive. Immediately gave me full (ish - as close as I think I should get for what Im riding) travel where I had been coming up short. That means I can still run the pressure I want to have them to sit up nicely in the start and middle of the stroke, without losing on travel, which is exactly what I wanted.

FWIW I tried the syringe test with the rep too, no doubt the science works. It's weird, but true.

Can I just check here, as TF have the short and std versions for £89. Trutune suggest they only have the 3 token equivalent, so is that the “short”?  Based on not being an aggressive rider, I think I need the “std”?

Edit, small print suggests TruTune only do the short version now. I wonder why that is as there seemed to be a clear distinction in use and application when there was a choice, as is set out by TF?

It wouldn’t surprise me if they’d had problems with people putting a long one in an inappropriate fork and mashing it

There was someone on here that had one fall apart. I can't remember the outcome though?
