Had a good chat with Ben from trutune yesterday about the product. Hopefully trying one soon 😀

Who has one in their fork? What do you think?

Who HAD over in their fork and no longer does?

Listening to his explanation of it or sounds like the perfect mod for midstroke support, supple start, bottom out protection.

I WAS a sceptic, how can adding something into a space increase the volume but now understand 😀 I think

I didn't get one, still mulling a coil conversion for my Zeb instead.

I have one in my Fox 36 forks on a Levo SL. I was a bit sceptical due to a lack of understanding.  However it is doing exactly what they say it will do.

I am considering replacing the MRP ramp control on my other bike with one now.

Has anyone independently done any dyno-rig testing?

I goof riding buddy of mine has used a DSD Runt for many years and rates it (in a 170mm Lyrik), I have just fitted one (also to 170mm Lyrik) and from initial rides seems to do what it is meant to - still playing with pressures and keeping to 1:2 pressure ration - my riding buddy after talking to DSD is using using a 1: 1.5 ratio

he also fitted their damper retune - I got the kit, but am trying without to start with.

I put one in my Fox 34s. Was never getting anywhere near full travel and being very light, rhought id give it a go. Only had a chance to do one ride off road and it seems to help but need to do more to set it up propperly.

I've used the dsd and whats now called the 'flow' trutune insert.

I prefer the 'dont-have-to mess-aboutability' of the trutune.

Thank you for the suggestion, however I’d be very sceptical of any “independent” research funded by anyone who had a vested interest in the outcome. 🙂

If “independent” research has been commissioned by an organisation that is interested in selling the product then you can’t trust it I’m afraid.

Have you tried it?

Why are you cynical/sceptical?

Because “independent” research that is paid for by someone who has a vested interest in the outcome very often isn’t independent.
