on the front with a Spyre set up the inner part of the actuator arm, where it pivots at the bottom, is brushing the spokes. Anyone come across this problem before?

You could try a rotor shim to move it outboard slightly or a larger rotor.

Yes - I moved the rotor outward using some thin spacers.

That happened to me before. Turned out the dish of the wheel was wrong. A friendly LBS Redisham it for me for free and it was fine

I think I also had to shim mine to get the alignment right.

Blimey, the dish must have been *way* out if it went from fouling the caliper to a safe margin…

(Spacers here, too.)
