You need one this weekend and just asking today, you serious?
He'll be along soon but I don't think he has any in stock.
Tested one last night - it's a fine light.
Hi
I have had reply from Troute and have ordered one from him
Yes I was serious that if he had one today I would have driven to Silsden to collect as have day off - As it is will have to wait a few weeks which is fine - From the gr8 reviews ive read on here sure it will be worth the wait - Sure glad I found this site as convinced me to order one and love the fact its handmade locally here in Yorkshire - What an ACE site this is - Have managed to aquire a spare lenses glass for my Lupine Wilma as cracked mine so will be using that till the Troute arrives
Yes, Made in UK is a good thing. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks so.
🙂
Lum - not just made in the UK either - get to deal direct, no hateful distributor (ahem Zyro...), no brainless customer services goon to try and get past, quick response to questions, quick to use, test and adopt new technology.
I may be naive but I absolutely cannot see why anyone would get something like a Lupine or other mega pricey brands when they can get a Luminous/Legend/Four4th/Troutie with far more power for far less money.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
Yes, its a mystery to me too.
Hi - I bought my Lupine second hand of ebay last year and when I thought about changing it for something bigger n brighter I couldnt beleive the prices of some of the lights out there - The Lupine Betty 7 is £700 quid but you can buy for £100 less if shop around but thats still crazy money. - I think the main problem is that people are not aware about other options unless they go on a site like this - I'd never evan heard of Troute lights before Wed of this week and now ive ordered one - Fantastic
Well said Surf, Lum.
Mr Surf, I hope the Lib battery, Lum battery and your camera batteries are all on charge for an evening of fun 🙂
Oh, and don't forget. VAT is going up in Jan, so prices will have to as well, as people who make stuff, have to buy stuff, and that means paying the higher VAT.
So getting a light now, makes even more sense.
