From a local cycling FB page:
Hello all
I'm new to the group and like the idea of a place like this to promote and discuss cycling issues. However since joining, all the news articles linked here have been of concern to me. 3 were from the Guardian and one from a Labour website.
That doesn't strike me as very inclusive to people like myself who are against the often hateful, sexist and racist politics of those two camps. Only this week we've had confirmation of Labour's views from the EHRC and the Guardian are well known for their extreme views.
Perhaps some more neutral sources of cycling news would be more appropriate and inclusive?
Thanks
I'll be honest, his trolling-fu is weak and he's getting a surprisingly polite but thorough kicking 🤣
Sounds like he's found STW.

This looks like a stealth troll on STW to me.

Worst troll attempt ever.

How ironic lol.
Do people write this stuff to get a reaction or comments? I just don’t see where the reward/reasoning for doing it is!
It's a very polite and civilized group. He was warned that if he finds the Guardian too much he'd best avoid the Mail, and we invited him to share interesting articles from other sources that weren't behind paywalls.
Then he whined a bit more about our intolerance and the mods turned off comments. Which was a shame, I wanted to see how deep he could dig 🤣

Really? Left leaning yes but not extreme. It's not like it's the socialist worker.

Reaction, comments, partisan political agenda and/or personal agenda. All of the above and more.
