Hi,
I'd like to put a triple chainset on to my Pinnacle Arkose for some long distance road touring around the Alps this summer. The bottom bracket shell is 68 mm and takes an external bottom bracket. With all of the bottom bracket types and spindle lengths I've very confused on how to proceed!
Ideally I'd like to fit a Shimano Deore 10 speed chainset. Would that work ok or would I need to mess around to make it work? are there any other recommendations?

Deore 10 speed chainset should be fine. You'll need a front mech, l/h shifter and possibly rear mech too depending on what is currently on there.
