I'm trying to get a test ride on one of these as my next XC/short travel trail bike.  Not worried about spec for this, just checking how it rides and sizing.

It looks like the new 2024 AXS models are out with T type SRAM drivetrains, some bling finishing kit and new paint options.  Personally, I'd probably got for an 9.8XT level bike, which are showing as no longer in stock on trek website.  It wouldn't be much of a leap to imagine that fairly soon the 9.8XT will match the AXS models just with shimano drive trains

The only thing is that my local trek shop said that trek don't have model year, they just change when there's a need.  So any one know anything useful about trek stock levels or likely model changes?

USA site shows what I was expecting, "new" models with the latest paint and finishing kit.  So presumably just a waiting game until they release the new models in the UK.

The current one only changed for the ‘23 model year, so other than spec & paint, I doubt you will see anything different for the next couple of years at least.

Really like mine, great little fun bike 🙂

I can add nothing more useful than what HobNob said. I've got a 22/23 9.8XT and it's a great bike.
