Going full monster truck build with Zebs etc - completely overkill but who cares
Full bikes aren't available until next autumn now - hence the custom build, plus didn't want 175 cranks and certainly not bontrager dropper, wheels or tyres!
FWIW there's nothing wrong with the newer Bonty droppers or wheels. Some of the best components I've had for the money.
I've still got the dropper on my Banshee and it's not skipped a beat for over a year now.
The new Slash looks great though, it'll be a monster build 🙂

as you say the new stuff probably much better...but DT swiss 1501 always my go to wheels and prefer the slightly longer drop of a 180mm One Up
Cracking looking bikes, have been for a couple of years now, my next bike will be a Trek, but will have a big **** off motor on it! 🙂
Borrowed one for a while, as I have a Rail anyway & wanted to see what it's like. It's pretty much a Rail, without a motor. Or a Rail is basically a Slash, with a motor. Which is a good thing.
I didn't pick one ultimately, as I wanted something a bit more short travel & fun without a motor & my moped is 170/170 - not a fan of pedaling that around without assistance. They have certainly address a large chunk of what wasn't very good about the old bike though 🙂

I don't do mopeds, hate the lack of top speed LOL.
I only run 1 bike so better to be over biked than under !
