Hi all, off to Cyprus in May and will be hiring a trek 6000. Hire company has advised a 19.5" for my height thinking that 17.5 will be to small. I'm 5'11 by the way and both my bikes are 18". Are Treks quite compact or come up in someway small size wise?
Cheers
Sonnyjim
Iam 5'10" and ride a 17.5" fuel ex 29er mind you I have short legs for my height 😀
5'8" , 31" inside leg.
Rumblefish 17.5"
Had an ex8 at 17.5 'actual' and was good with a short stem...stock stem was 90mm!!! (2012 model)
I'm 5'8"
Watch out for virtual and actual
Trek do a 17.5 and an 18.5 in most of their bikes , I would expect the 18.5 to be the correct fit for you if they have it .
I have a 19.5" Trek elite 8.5
I am 5"9" and have about 0.5" clearance when I am stood on the floor

19.5 inch Trek Marlin here - 6 foot tall with 29 inch inside leg.
It's so subjective, but you'll probably be fine.
