HI all
Can anyone shed any light on the axle width and diameter on this bike?

I have heard the axle type was bolt on (open dropout)but was it possible to use an oversized type of skewer for it? Has anyone ever owned a Big Earl wheelset that (that's apparently discontinued) fitted this bike? Did you ever find another brand to replave it with once it packed in?

I have also heard that Santacruz may have had this standard around that time. Any ideas?

If anyone can help, that would be great!

Thanks folks.

Rear Hub on the 2007 was a Big Earl, 135mm with standard qr fitting. The dropouts were open not bolt through.

Trek never made a bolt through bolt on adaptor/dropout, but the dropouts were a bolt on piece to the alloy swing, so a CNC shop could possibly play with the design.

Trek UK still have spares for the bolt on part, drive side is part 252931
Bolt through rear hubs were used on Diesel and the Session 8/88 design.

Thanks,Col. Basically known as a 135x10 q/r? Was this the same on the 2005 model then?
