I'm not going to see my Defy for a little bit still and work have a nice flexible c2w scheme, ride to work will be a mix of canal tow path and shit manchester roads I will only do it in the dry when I can be bothered so no need for racks, luggage, guards or all that crap but also want something to hammer some road miles when I can and get out.

Got a demo on the carbon if I want it (really shouldn't spend the extra) to check for size etc.

Looked at the GTGrade and last years carbon is on offer for a little less, struggling to find things in a 54/55 in stock in last years bargains so any suggestions ideally 1500-1800 2k max for a real bargain

Checkpoint has a load of stuff I don't need really and a pound heavier, will take a look at the cube

Yeah saw that, trying to find some in the right size at the moment to try out, evans in Deansgate seems to be just a clearing house at the moment.
