Hi, bit of a long shot.

I recently bought a Trek Crockett and are having issues with the rear wheel alignment. The wheel seems really close to the stays on drive side when fitted and the QR is done up. Loads of room on the NDS.

Just before i take it back to the shop (miles away) and ask them to check the wheel is dished properly and get the frame bar out, i was hoping someone could send me a photo of their bike for reference.

Anyone with a Crockett fancy turning it upside down and sending me a photo of the clearance? There's nothing in google images i can find.

Thanks in advance.

Check for thick paint in the drop outs.

Reverse the wheel. If the gap is the other side then it's the wheel. If not, it's the frame.

Can you not just flip the wheel round to see if its the dish of the wheel or the frame ...

Mine is like that. Not that I could even get a wheel in the dropouts to start with due to the massively thick layer of lacquer applied to the frame / dropouts that needed removing with a Stanley knife and a file.

Thanks for all the replies. Dropouts are clear of paint and wheel reversed still looks a bit off. Trip to the shop required.
