Ok so i downloaded the PDF from fox but tbh the travel ajusting section made no sense. Forks were at 125mm and i wanted to make them 100mm:

Unscrewed red rebound adjuster top cap, removed 25mm spacer from damper shaft, refitted the top cap, torqued to fox setting.

Wound off all the preload (blue adjuster) removed top cap. removed 25mm spacer and placed it under the spring. refitted spring, and 20mm spacer on top of spring, lifted the fork up, refitted top cap, torqued to fox setting.

Does this sound right?

Cheers!!!!!

no you need to put the spacers on the damper shaft to limit the fork extension.

this page shows the various configs:

fantastic! i've reset them to 125 to ride tomorrow, need to get more fork oil before i can do it properly.

That enduro seal guide is MUCH simpler than foxes own! may aswell service them while they're apart next time.

Have you fitted a stiffer spring? you should go one up from what you were using in 125. IIRC after market vans should have come with 3 springs, the standard for your travel fitted, 1 harder and 1 softer, think there was a range of 5 alltogether not 100% about all this tho.
